The European Commission, in cooperation with the B3 Regions project and the Piedmont Region, have the pleasure to invite you to the Conference EUROPEAN REGIONS FOR BETTER ICT CONNECTIONS, April 2-3, 2009 Turin, Italy-Lingotto Conference Centre
The event is the first of a set of actions aimed at opening a wide consultation on issues surrounding the development of the EU broadband strategy and the way this will fit into the future EU ICT policy framework after the current l2010 inititive.
Main issues: B3 Regions projet activities and results (April 2); Broadband and the EU action in the Recovery plan (April 3).
Speakers: Officials from relevant Directorates General of the European Commission, European telecommunications operators, national and regional authorities in charge of broadband deployment, and other relevant actors.
