Project description: Development of novel oral therapeutics based on
Tellurium alternative Compounds. The mechanism of action of these
compounds related to modifying body weight. These small alternative
tellurium compounds will be tested in vivo for both their affect on
delaying and preventing genetically and diet-induced obesity. .
Assessment of the Toxicology and Pharmacokinetics of the Tellurium
alternative Compounds following oral administration.
